Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Troy

Great location in Troy, conveniently located near restaurants and shopping, right off the highway with easy on and off. Lots of meeting space for groups, open dining area in lobby. Rooms are functional and clean. The public area is also very clean thanks to the efforts of Demetrial and William. Maya and David do a fantastic job managing the housekeeping team while ensuring the rooms are spotless. Sabrina in laundry is always a pleasure to chat with. Katiesh's culinary creations are always delicious. I highly recommend this hotel if your travels bring you to Troy.

Great place to stay! A true gem in the center of Troy. The best part was the friendly and professional staff, Ms. Lisa & Chef T are superstars and made our stay very special. Rooms and linen were clean and fresh. Wish breakfast was free, but it is for an additional cost. So big families, budget ahead for additional meals. Lobby is very upscale and rooms are modern. Pool was smaller than other places we've stayed, but it was never crowded so kids enjoyed swimming all to themselves. No real complaints about this establishment, will definitely be back for future family vacations.

Room was ok. Surprised to see no chairs or chaise in the room. Looked like there should've been. A lot of empty space. This was a regular non-smoking king-size bedroom. There were ladybugs and pee all over the underside of the toilet. No freezer part in small fridge, silverware including disposable, no napkins, plates, or bowls. Normal but no silverware? The room didn't stay room very well which is a must in Michigan winters. Bonus, there is a hot tub and, large lounge with Blume Bar. The patio areas looked very nice. Wish it was warmer. The staff was polite and helpful.

We found the hotel to be clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located - allowing us easy access to Detroit. Check-in was efficient and the staff accommodating. Our room, while not overly spacious, was clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the essentials. While the room was clean and comfortable, there were a few minor maintenance issues that detracted from the overall experience, such as a drafty window and wear/tear on the furniture. Being a Garden Inn, we were surprised to find amenities that we've come to expect from other Hilton properties. Overall, this location provided us with a convenient and comfortable place to rest.

Clean confortable hotel in nice location, good customer service is a hit or miss, some are good, some, not too much, missed the 24 hr coffee bar in the hotel lobby, like other same category hotels have.

The rooms were clean and adequate. The best part was breakfast! The chef made sure everything was replenished and hot! He introduced himself as Rocky and was super accommodating. I hope he’s there for our next stay!
